Your Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in. It gives you a snapshot of how your messaging is performing over your chosen time range — how many messages you sent, how many were read, how many people replied, what it cost you, and what still needs a human — all in one place.
Choosing a time range and campaign. The controls in the top-right corner scope the whole page: a time range picker — 7d, 30d, 90d, 6m, or Custom… for any range you pick; accounts that still have classic campaigns also get an All campaigns dropdown beside it, to narrow every number down to one campaign instead of your whole account. Everything below recalculates for whatever you pick here.
Narrowing a custom range down to the hour. Open Custom… and you get a calendar: click the first day of your range, then the last one, and everything in between highlights. Under it, a From row and a To row show the dates you picked, each with an optional time of day. Leave a time on
--and that end covers the whole day, exactly as before. Fill them in and the page covers only that window: put the same date on both rows with09:00and17:00, and every number on the Dashboard is that one working day’s activity. Times are read in your own local time, and the range you picked is spelled out under the page title and on the picker itself (2026-08-20 09:00 → 2026-08-20 17:00), so you can always see the window the numbers belong to.
How to Get to the Dashboard
The Dashboard loads automatically when you log in. To return to it from anywhere in the app, click Dashboard in the left sidebar — it’s the first item, right below the notification bell and the search bar.
Sidebar Navigation
The left sidebar is grouped rather than a flat list. From top to bottom:
- A notification bell
- Search (⌘K)
- Dashboard
- Daily Summaries
- An Engage group: Chats, Broadcasts, Appointments (older accounts may also show Campaigns)
- A CRM group: Contacts, Deals, Tasks
- An AI Studio group: AI Agents, Knowledge Base, Templates, Media Library, Custom Functions, MCP Servers
- Settings, near the bottom
Every group starts open. Click a group’s header (Engage, CRM, AI Studio) to fold it away when you don’t need it, and click it again to bring it back — your choice is remembered. Click any item to jump to that page. Some items only appear if your plan or role includes them, so your list may be shorter.
On a phone or small screen? The sidebar is hidden by default. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top corner to open it, then tap the item you want.
Need more room? Click the double arrow («) at the top of the sidebar to collapse it down to a slim icon rail. While it’s collapsed, rest your mouse on the rail and it opens temporarily on top of the page — so you can read the labels or click Search — then slides back when you move away. To keep it open, click Keep open (the ☰ icon) while it’s peeked open.
At the bottom of the sidebar, you will find two cards:
- Credits card - A subtle card with a bolt icon showing your credit balance as a bold number and a thin progress bar indicating how much of your monthly allowance you have used.
- Trial card - A gradient card with a clock icon counting down a trial. You’ll only see it if your account is actually on one — a plan you started with a free trial, or a trial from an earlier offer. It disappears once the trial converts to a paid plan.
Search (jump to any page without clicking through the menu)
Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from anywhere in the app, or click Search near the top of the sidebar. A box opens in the middle of the screen: start typing the name of the page you want and press Enter to go straight there. It’s the fastest way around once you know what you want to configure, and it saves opening a group in the sidebar to find something inside it.
It searches more than pages:
- Pages — Dashboard, Chats, Contacts, Deals, Tasks, Appointments, Broadcasts, Automations, AI Agents, Knowledge Base, Templates, Custom Functions, MCP Servers, Daily Summaries, Settings, and the agency pages if you have them.
- Settings sections — type the name of the setting you’re after (Billing, Team, Webhooks, Channels, Notifications, Data Export…) and the result takes you straight to that section of Settings, so you never have to open Settings and hunt down the left-hand list. Sections your plan or role doesn’t include don’t appear.
- Your own records — contacts, deals, tasks and your AI agents are matched by name as you type, so you can jump straight to a person rather than opening Contacts and searching again.
- Recently viewed — what you opened last, listed first before you type anything.
- Quick actions — create a new contact, deal, task, agent or automation without going to the page first.
Use the arrow keys to move through the results and Enter to open the highlighted one. Esc closes it.
Notifications
The bell icon at the very top of the sidebar is where in-app alerts live. Click it to open a popover of your recent notifications without leaving the page you’re on.
When you have alerts, they list here with View all notifications at the bottom taking you to your full history. See Notifications for everything you can be notified about and how to control which channels (email, in-app, push, webhook) each one uses.
Understanding Your Numbers
Across the top of the page is a row of KPI cards (KPI just means “key number worth watching”) — each with a big number and a small trend sparkline (a tiny line chart showing whether that number is going up or down): Sent, Delivered, Read, Replies, and New Contacts. A sixth card, Bookings, appears too once your account has any appointments booked in the selected range — accounts that don’t use the booking feature don’t see a permanent zero card cluttering the row.
Message Stats
| Metric | What It Tells You |
|---|---|
| Sent | Total messages sent across all your campaigns and channels. |
| Delivered | How many messages actually reached the recipient. If this number is much lower than “Sent,” some messages failed to deliver (for example, a WhatsApp message sent to someone who does not have WhatsApp). |
| Read | How many delivered messages the recipient opened. This only works on channels that show read receipts, like WhatsApp and Instagram. |
| Replies | How many contacts wrote back. This is your best measure of engagement. |
| Bookings | Appointments booked through the platform during this period. Only visible once you have at least one booking in range. |
Chat history you brought with you isn’t counted. When you connect WhatsApp Web or Telegram you can import the conversations already on that phone or account. Those older messages sit in your inbox so a chat reads in full, but they’re left out of every message number and chart on the Dashboard. They were sent before you connected, often months before, so counting them would drop spikes onto days you weren’t using the platform at all. Everything on this page is what you actually sent and received while connected.
New Contacts and Credits
| Metric | What It Tells You |
|---|---|
| New Contacts | How many new contacts you gained — whether you added them manually, imported them, or they messaged you first. |
| Credits Used (Credit Usage panel) | Total credits used for messaging and AI activity in the selected range. Credits are the units the platform uses to track your usage. |
| Per Chat (Credit Usage panel) | Your average credits spent per conversation — one of your most useful numbers, since it shows how efficiently your bot handles a typical chat. |
If you want a per-contact cost figure specifically (rather than per-chat), divide the Credits Used total by New Contacts for the same range — the platform doesn’t show that exact ratio as its own card, but both numbers are right there on the page.
Performance Over Time
Below the KPI row, the Performance Over Time chart plots your daily messaging activity as five colored lines — Sent, Delivered, Read, Replies, and New Contacts. Click any line’s label in the legend to show or hide it, so you can focus on just the metrics you care about. Use this to spot busy days (usually campaign launches or promotions), quiet days, and whether your volume is trending up, flat, or down.
Two more lines sit in the legend switched off, so the chart doesn’t start out crowded: AI sent and Human sent. Together they split the Sent line into the messages your AI wrote and the ones your team typed by hand. Click either label to bring it in. It’s the quickest way to see whether a busy stretch was your AI working through the inbox or your team doing it. Whichever lines you leave showing are remembered for next time.
Use the All channels dropdown above the chart to re-scope the same lines to a single channel or a single sending number instead of your whole account — handy for checking whether one WhatsApp number is behaving differently from the rest.
Credit Usage
The panel beside the chart shows your credit balance for the selected range: a big used / total number, a percentage, and a progress bar, plus a breakdown into Used, Remaining, and Per Chat. It also tells you when your balance next resets, and shows a small trend line of your credit usage over the last 14 days. This mirrors the credits card at the bottom of the sidebar, just with more detail. See Billing Overview for how credits and billing work.
AI Cost (own API keys only)
If you’ve connected your own Anthropic API key (see AI Model & BYOK), an extra AI Cost card appears on the Dashboard. It shows what you actually spent on your own key over the selected period, next to what the exact same work would have cost on our Max and Mini models — computed from your real usage, not an estimate. If Max or Mini would have been cheaper, the card says by how much; if your own key was cheaper, it says that too. Agency owners also get a per-sub-account breakdown. Accounts without their own key don’t see this card.
Conversion Funnel
Underneath the chart, the Conversion Funnel shows the drop-off from your first message down to replies (and bookings, if you use them) — each stage as a bar with its count and percentage, so you can see exactly where contacts stop engaging.
Inbox at a Glance
The Inbox panel is your “what needs me right now” list. Because your AI handles most conversations on its own, this panel focuses on the ones that need a human, not on raw message counts. It shows how many conversations are flagged Needs Attention — conversations your AI has flagged for a real person to take over, for example someone asked to speak to a human, or the AI ran out of good answers — and how many are Awaiting Your Reply, where the customer sent the last message and is waiting to hear back. A breakdown of those by channel shows you where the activity is. Click Open to jump straight to Chats.
Further Down the Page
Scroll past the panels above and the Dashboard continues with more detail:
Channel Health and Per-Number Stats
A Channel Health panel shows every messaging channel you can connect (WhatsApp Business, WhatsApp Web, SMS, Instagram, Messenger, and more) with a status pill telling you whether it is Connected, needs Attention (for example, a WhatsApp Web session that must be re-linked), or is Not connected. Under each connected channel you also get exact message stats per number or account for the selected time range:
- In / Out — How many messages that number received and sent.
- AI — How many of the outgoing messages were sent by your AI bot (the rest were sent manually or by campaigns).
- Contacts — How many different people that number talked to.
- Failed — Shown in red if any outgoing messages could not be delivered, so a problem number stands out immediately.
This is the quickest way to compare your numbers and channels: if one WhatsApp number is doing all the work while another sits idle, or a number suddenly shows failed messages, you’ll see it here at a glance.
AI vs Human
Beside Channel Health sits AI vs human, subtitled “who handled the outgoing messages in this range”. It answers the question every account gets to eventually: how much of this is my AI actually doing? It follows the same time range as the rest of the page and has two halves.
Messages sent splits everything that left your account into two rows, each with its count and its share:
- AI: messages your AI assistant sent on its own, with nobody on your team typing.
- Your team: messages someone sent by hand, including the replies you write after taking a conversation over from the AI.
A bar underneath shows the balance at a glance, and the pill in the panel’s corner gives you the headline figure: 84% handled by AI.
Conversations measures the same period by person rather than by message. A contact counts here as soon as they got at least one message from you in the range, and each one lands in exactly one of three tiles:
| Tile | What It Means |
|---|---|
| AI only | The AI handled the conversation from start to finish. Nobody on your team sent anything in it. |
| Team only | Only your team replied. The AI sent nothing. |
| Both | The AI replied and someone on your team also stepped in. |
That’s a more honest picture of your workload than the message split on its own: an account can be 90% AI by message volume and still have a person involved in most conversations, which is exactly the thing worth knowing.
Every label has a small info icon. Hover it for a one-line explanation of precisely what that number counts.
Two things worth knowing about these numbers:
- Imported chat history isn’t included, here or anywhere else on the Dashboard. There’s no way to tell who wrote a message that happened before you connected, so counting it would only muddy the split.
- If nothing was sent in the range, the panel says so rather than showing a wall of zeros. On a small number of accounts the split can’t be worked out at all, and there the panel tells you it isn’t available yet, again rather than showing zeros that would read as “your AI did nothing”.
Most-Active-Time Heatmap
A heatmap of when your contacts message you across the week — useful for knowing when to schedule outreach or staff a human handoff.
Top Agents (Top Campaigns on older accounts)
A leaderboard of your best-performing agents for the selected range, so you can see at a glance which ones to learn from and which to fix.
Contacts by Country
Each row shows a country’s flag and name, the share of your new contacts it represents, and the exact count, with the biggest countries at the top. The counts follow the same time range as the rest of the Dashboard.
A few things worth knowing:
- The country comes from the contact’s phone number. We work out the country from the phone’s international dialing code (for example, a number starting with +31 is counted as the Netherlands). Numbers that start with +1 are shown as US/CA, since the United States and Canada share the same code.
- Contacts without a phone number are grouped as “no country.” People who reached you on Instagram, Messenger, or Telegram, or a WhatsApp contact we can’t match to a normal phone number, don’t have a country we can read. Rather than hide them, we show the count at the bottom of the panel so your totals always add up.
Activity Feed, Tasks, and Deals
A live activity feed of recent events across your account, plus a mini view of your top open Tasks and Deals so you don’t need to leave the Dashboard to see what’s outstanding.
Daily Summaries
Daily Summaries sits right below Dashboard in the sidebar. It’s an AI-written recap of everything that happened in your inbox yesterday — wins, losses, tasks it created, and the day’s KPIs — so you can catch up in minutes instead of scrolling through every chat. See Daily Summaries for the full guide.
Quick Actions
From the Dashboard, you can jump straight to common tasks:
- Create a new AI agent — start building a new agent right away.
- View recent chats — Open Chats to see your latest conversations.
- Check your credit balance — See how many credits you have left in the sidebar credits card, or visit Settings → Billing to manage your subscription.
Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Dashboard
- Check it daily during active campaigns so you catch delivery problems early.
- Compare “Sent” vs. “Delivered” — a big gap means something is wrong (bad phone numbers, blocked contacts, or channel issues).
- Watch your “Per Chat” credit average in the Credit Usage panel to keep costs predictable. If this number suddenly jumps, check your AI instructions — the bot may be having conversations that are longer than necessary.
- Track “Replies” as your main success metric. A high reply rate means your messages are connecting with your audience.
- Use “AI vs human” to see where your team’s time is going. A Team only count that keeps climbing usually means a topic your AI can’t answer yet. Find those conversations in Chats; the fix is normally a few lines added to your agent’s instructions or knowledge base.
- Narrow a custom range to a few hours when you’re chasing something specific, like the morning a broadcast went out or the evening a number started failing, instead of reading a whole day’s totals.
