# Post Results

After a post goes out, the Scheduler records what happened on **each account separately**. That is the important part: one post going to five accounts is really five deliveries, and they can turn out differently.

---

## The Five States

| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| **Draft** | Saved, no time set. Nothing has been sent. |
| **Scheduled** | Waiting for its time. You can still edit or cancel it. |
| **Published** | It reached every account you selected. |
| **Partly published** | It reached some accounts but not others. |
| **Failed** | It did not reach any account. |

Open any post to see the per-account breakdown. Each account shows whether it worked, and published ones link straight to the live post on that network so you can check it with one click.

---

## Published

Everything worked. Nothing to do.

Use the link next to each account to open the real post on that network if you want to see it, share it, or reply to comments there.

---

## Partly Published

**This is the one people misread, so read this bit.**

Partly published means the post is genuinely live on some of your accounts and genuinely did not go out on the others. It is not "still working on it" and it is not "everything failed". Open the post and look down the account list to see exactly which is which.

**What to do:**

1. **Open the post and find the accounts that failed.** Each one gives a short reason.
2. **Fix that reason** using the list below.
3. **Post again to just those accounts.** Create a new post with the same text, select only the accounts that missed out, and publish it. Do not reschedule the original to everyone, or the accounts that already succeeded get it twice.

**Why one account fails while others succeed:**

- **The network signed us out.** That account shows a **Reconnect** badge. See below.
- **Instagram's daily limit was reached.** Instagram allows roughly 100 posts a day per account through connected tools. Try again the next day.
- **The text was too long for that network.** Bluesky and Threads are short. Shorten the text for that network and post again.
- **The picture or video was not accepted.** A network rejected the file. Try a different image, or a shorter or smaller video.
- **Posting rights changed.** You are no longer an admin of that Facebook Page, or no longer allowed to post in that Telegram channel. Restore the rights on the network itself, then post again.
- **The network had a problem at that moment.** Temporary problems are retried automatically for a few minutes before we give up. If it still failed, simply posting again usually works.

---

## Failed

Nothing went out anywhere. Nobody saw it, so there is no cleanup to do on the networks.

The usual causes:

- **Every selected account needs reconnecting.** Reconnect them, then schedule the post again.
- **The image or video could not be prepared.** Try a different file.
- **The networks were unreachable at that moment.** Schedule it again.

Open the post, read the reason shown on the accounts, fix it, and schedule the post again.

## The Reconnect Badge

A **Reconnect** badge on an account means **the network signed us out**. It does not mean your account was suspended and it does not mean you did anything wrong. Facebook, Instagram, Threads and LinkedIn all sign connected apps out periodically for security, and they also sign us out if you change your password on that network.

While the badge is showing, that account cannot publish. Any post scheduled to it will fail on that account, though your other accounts are unaffected.

**To fix it:** click **Reconnect** on the account, sign in on that network again, and approve the permissions. That is all. The next post goes through normally.

Posts that already failed while the account was signed out do not send themselves afterwards. Post them again once you have reconnected.

**Bluesky works a little differently.** It is connected with an app password rather than a sign in, so if that app password is deleted or changed in Bluesky, add the account again with a fresh one. See [Connecting Your Social Accounts](connecting-accounts.md#bluesky).
