# Where to Find Things

A map of the app for the "where is that setting?" moments. Everything is either in the **left sidebar** (the things you work in) or in **Settings** (the things you configure once).

> **On a phone?** The sidebar is behind the menu icon (**☰**) in the top corner. Tap that first, then follow the same path.

## The Left Sidebar

The sidebar is grouped. Click a group name to expand it.

| Group | What is in it |
|---|---|
| (top) | **Dashboard**, **Daily Summaries** |
| **Engage** | **Chats**, **Broadcasts**, **Campaigns**, **Appointments** |
| **CRM** | **Contacts**, **Deals**, **Tasks** |
| **AI Studio** | **AI Agents**, **Automations**, **Knowledge Base**, **Templates**, **Media Library**, **Custom Functions**, **MCP Servers** |
| (agency accounts) | **Sub Accounts**, **Snapshots**, **SaaS Mode** |
| (bottom) | **Settings**, the **Credits** card, **Help**, and the light/dark mode switch |

Not every item appears on every account: a group only shows when your plan includes it, and agency owners can hide pages from a client account.

**Dark mode** is the sun/moon switch at the bottom of the sidebar. Click it to flip the whole app between light and dark.

**Search** at the top of the sidebar (or the keyboard shortcut shown next to it) opens a jump-to box for pages, contacts and actions, the fastest way to reach anything on this page.

## Inside an AI Agent

Most "where is that AI setting?" questions end here. Go to **AI Studio → AI Agents**, open the Agent, and use its tabs:

| Tab | What you set there |
|---|---|
| **AI Instructions** | Two things live here: the persona, goal, rules and conversation flow (your Agent's playbook), **and** the settings below it: primary language, AI quality, reply timing, response limits and context budget |
| **Active Hours** | The hours the Agent is allowed to reply |
| **Media** | Files the Agent may send |
| **FAQs & Knowledge** | The knowledge this Agent can answer from |
| **AI Abilities** | The tools the Agent can use |
| **Tags** | Which tags the Agent may apply, and when |
| **Follow-ups** | Automated follow-up messages and their timing |
| **Entry Points** | Which conversations this Agent picks up, including **comment-to-DM** on Instagram and Facebook |
| **Try Out** | A test chat, with no real contact involved |

> **On an older Agent** you may see the settings split across two tabs instead: an **AI Instructions** tab for the playbook and a separate **Bot Settings** tab for the settings. Everything below is on whichever of the two carries the settings.

### The settings people look hardest for

- **Which AI model / AI quality tier (Pro, Max, Mini)**: Agent → **AI Instructions** → **AI quality**.
- **Message delay before the AI answers**: Agent → **AI Instructions** → **Reply timing** → **Minimum wait** and **Maximum wait**, in seconds. A random delay between the two is used so replies feel human. There is also a **Use minimum wait time for new contacts** switch there.
- **How many bubbles one reply is split into**: Agent → **AI Instructions** → **Response limits** → **Max messages per response** (and **Enforce max messages** next to it).
- **How many messages the AI may send in one chat before it stops**: same place, **Max AI messages per chat**.
- **How much of the playbook the AI reads**: Agent → **AI Instructions** → **Context budget**.
- **The Agent's primary language, and whether it answers Instagram Story replies**: Agent → **AI Instructions**, in the block just above the playbook fields.
- **Comment-to-DM keywords, which posts to watch, the public reply**: Agent → **Entry Points** → an **Instagram Comment** or **Facebook Comment** rule. See [Comment-to-DM](../ai-automation/comment-to-dm.md).
- **When the AI hands over to a human**: Agent → **AI Instructions** → the **Alert Human When** field. When the AI hands over, it pauses itself on that one contact until someone resumes it. There is no pause *duration* to set: it stays paused until you turn it back on.
- **Turning the AI back on after a handoff**: open the chat and use the **Resume AI** control at the top. To do many at once, select the conversations in **Chats** and use the bulk **Resume AI** action.

## Inside Settings

Click **Settings** at the bottom of the sidebar. The Settings screen has its own left rail, grouped like this:

| Group | Item | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| **Account** | **Profile** | Your name, email and how you appear in the workspace |
| | **Security & General** | **Two-factor authentication**, active sessions, app language, privacy controls |
| | **Business** | Your company details, used in invoices and in the AI's system prompt |
| **Workspace** | **Team** | Invite teammates and control what they can see and edit |
| | **Billing** | Plan, credit balance, usage history, invoices, payment method |
| | **Tags** | Reusable labels for contacts, chats and broadcasts |
| **Channels** | **Channels** | Connect and manage WhatsApp, SMS, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, the website widget and the rest |
| | **Short Links** | Branded short URLs for outbound messages |
| **Notifications** | **Notifications** | Email, push and in-app alerts, per event type |
| | **Email Templates** | The wording and language of the emails the platform sends |
| **Integrations** | **Booking & Calendar** | Google Calendar, and the restaurant booking integrations |
| | **Webhooks** | Send events to your own systems |
| | **API Key** | The key Zapier, Make, n8n or your own code use |
| **Advanced** | **BYOK API Keys** | Use your own Anthropic key instead of credits |
| | **White Labeling** | Your own branding and domain |
| | **Data Export** | Download a copy of your account data |

**Two-factor authentication** is under **Settings → Security & General**. Three methods are available: an authenticator app, a text message code, and an emailed code.

## A Few Things That Are Not in Settings

- **Event types, appointment lengths and rooms**: the **Appointments** page in the sidebar, on the **Event Types** tab. Rooms are set inside each event type, not in Settings.
- **Booked appointments**: the same page, on the **Upcoming Appointments** tab.
- **Knowledge base content, website imports and document uploads**: **AI Studio → Knowledge Base**. An Agent's own **FAQs & Knowledge** tab picks from that library.
- **WhatsApp message templates**: **AI Studio → Templates**.
- **The guided setup wizard**: **Setup wizard** in the sidebar; you can reopen it at any time.
- **Your credit balance**: the **Credits** card at the bottom of the sidebar. Clicking it opens Billing.

## Using It on Your Phone

There is no App Store or Play Store download. You install <span data-t="appName">Your AI Connector</span> straight from your phone's browser instead, and it then behaves like any other app: its own icon on the home screen, full screen, no browser bar.

1. Open <span data-t="appName">Your AI Connector</span> in your phone's browser and log in.
2. In Chrome, tap the menu (**⋮**) and choose **Add to phone**. In Safari, tap **Share**, then **Add to Home Screen**.
3. Open it from the new icon.

Everything you use day to day is there — chats, replies, contacts, appointments — with the sidebar behind the menu icon (**☰**). To get new messages and human alerts on your lock screen, open it from the home screen icon, go to **Settings → Notifications** and tap **Enable on this device** on the phone itself. See [Notifications](../settings/notifications.md).
